Replit

Replit is a cloud-based development platform that allows creating, deploying, and hosting web and mobile applications from the browser or mobile devices. It integrates development environment, deployment tools, and infrastructure services in a workspace accessible without local configuration.

The system incorporates Replit Agent, an assistant based on artificial intelligence that generates code from natural language instructions. This functionality allows developing applications through conversation, without requiring programming knowledge. The agent performs automatic code testing, identifies errors, and applies corrections through continuous validation.

The platform includes design tools that facilitate importing projects from Figma. The visual editor allows modifying interface elements from the preview, adjusting texts, images, and styles. Replit Agent generates instant interactive previews before development to validate that the design corresponds with established requirements.

Replit Database provides storage through serverless SQL databases. The system maintains separate databases for development and production, allowing validation of changes before deployment. It includes point-in-time restore functions and tools for schema and SQL query management.

Publishing options include static sites, dynamic servers with automatic scaling, and reserved virtual machines. The platform offers scheduled publishing to execute tasks according to defined calendar.

The security system incorporates vulnerability scanning through Semgrep, encrypted API key management via Google Cloud, and isolated environments. Deployments run on Google Cloud Platform infrastructure with DDoS protection.

Replit supports integrations with external services. Available integrations include AI models from OpenAI, Anthropic and xAI, authentication through Firebase and Google OAuth, payment processing with Stripe and PayPal, and communication via SendGrid and Twilio.

The platform is available as a web application and through native apps for Android and iOS.
