Google AI Studio is a web development platform that enables experimentation and creation of applications using Google's artificial intelligence models. The tool provides direct access to foundational models like the Gemini family through specialized interfaces.

The platform offers three main types of interfaces for different use cases: freeform prompts for open experimentation and content generation, structured prompts that define specific patterns using examples, and conversational prompts designed to create chatbot experiences while maintaining historical context.

Integrated multimodal capabilities allow processing not only text but also images, audio, and video within prompts. Users can upload images directly for the model to interpret, enabling use cases such as visual description or text generation based on graphic content.

The tool includes detailed generation controls such as temperature to adjust randomness, Top-K and Top-P parameters to limit vocabulary, and maximum length and stop sequence settings to control response structure.

Once prototypes are developed, AI Studio generates code snippets in multiple programming languages including Python, Node.js, Go, and cURL. These SDKs can be integrated directly into real projects, facilitating the transition from prototype to functional application.
